AEROPRESS

The Aeropress doesn’t look like the piece of coffee making kit you'ld have in your house.  In fact, it’s seen by some as the very best coffee maker in the world.  Can we just take a second and thank you the innovated gentleman who invented it. It may look a little odd but the coffee you can produce with it speaks for itself: rich, tasty, complex, everything you want from good coffee. Here’s how to use it.

YOU’LL NEED:

  • Aeropress
  • Aeropress Scoop
  • Aeropress Paddle
  • Aeropress Filter
  • Kettle
  • Some delicious coffee (Finla Coffee)

DRIP / V60

The V60 is one the most common Drip / Filter methods today. The simplest way of making great coffee whether it's one cup or a jug to share, this method can make life that little bit easier.

YOU’LL NEED:

  • A V60 aka Filter Cone
  • A V60 filter aka Filter Paper
  • Some delicious coffee
  • A kettle
  • A spoon or scoop
  • Some delicious coffee (Finla Coffee)

MOKA POT

By far the coolest way to make a coffee but It’s important you don’t use a fine grind in a stovetop moka pot, as you would for an espresso machine. A fine grind works in espresso machines because of the high speed and pressure of coffee extraction. Because the stovetop is slower and applies less pressure during the extraction, a fine grind will lead to a sharp increase in bitterness. (not good)

YOU’LL NEED:

  • A stovetop moka pot
  • Some delicious coffee
  • A kettle
  • A tea towel
  • A spoon

CAFETIERE

This method is a great way to start your day. Enjoying a silky smooth cafetière over breakfast is just heaven, Don’t hesitate to add more water if it’s too strong, or more coffee if it’s too weak!   You can use your own cups as measures. We recommend using the full volume of the cafetière for the best results.

YOU’LL NEED:

  • A cafetiere aka french press
  • Some delicious coffee
  • A kettle
  • A tea towel
  • Two spoons

COLD BREW

The cold brew is a great way to get a cool but caffeinated drink,  Using the hario cold brew jug means that, with a just little prior preparation, you can have a chilled brew ready for you to drink.

YOU’LL NEED:

  • A Hario cold brew jug
  • 50g of delicious coffee (coarsely ground)
  • Around 800ml water
  • A glass
